Custom Branded Vs. Standard Virtual Tour
As standard all of our virtual tours come with custom branding. But what is it and how is it an improvement over a standard 3D virtual tour?
Well, there are three key aspects to custom branding a virtual tour.
Cover Image
Brand Logo
Navigation Menu
As a starting point let’s have a look at what a traditional Matterport virtual tour would look like (below):
The background image is the start point of the virtual tour and while the start point of any tour can be changed you are not able to upload a custom picture within Matterport.
In the example below we have custom branding added to the same virtual tour.
With this, you can see straight away the different cover image is far more enticing for users to click and explore.
In addition, we have a brand logo in the top left of the tour while in the top right, we have our navigation menu.
The navigation menu easily allows guests to navigate to pre-defined areas within your virtual tour as well as containing contact details, location information & links to webpages and social media.
Custom branding also allows your virtual tour to be made available in multiple languages. Users select one of the available languages and both tour navigation and in-tour tags are automatically translated.
